A drunk Irish woman has been arrested and charged after walking into a Queenstown apartment, locking herself in a cupboard and urinating throughout.
Senior Constable Chris Blackford said the 29-year-old, who was grossly intoxicated, did not know anyone at the Shotover St apartment she barged into on Thursday.
She has been charged with wilful damage and being unlawfully in a building.
• Almost $2000 and a tablecloth were stolen from Gibbston Valley Wines overnight on Thursday.
The ''tidy'' burglars neatly stacked dishes on an adjacent table before taking the tablecloth, Snr Const Blackford said.
