Luggate will host a Queenstown Lakes District Council meeting for the first time in staff memory next month.
The meeting will be held at the Luggate Hall on October 30.
Council meetings are held in Wanaka two or three times a year, which usually includes the October meeting. However, the two usual venues - the Lake Wanaka Centre and Edgewater - are both booked on the 30th.
An extraordinary meeting of the council on October 9 to discuss options for new swimming facilities in Wanaka will be held in Queenstown.
