Entrepreneurs everywhere are being invited to spend time in ''The Cell'', Wanaka's business incubator located in the town's former police station in Helwick St.

The new facility is being leased and managed by the team behind Wanaka's entry in Chorus' Gigatown ultra-fast broadband competition.

The Cell will contain office facilities at accessible rates for small businesses.

Pictured are Wanaka Chamber of Commerce president Alistair King and Gigatown Wanaka campaign manager Kelly Good, who are part of the team establishing the facility.

Ms Good said the office would provide businesses with space but also with access to the people and organisations that could help them grow their enterprises.
