A Queenstown teenager was told by justice of the peace Vicki Buckham in the Queenstown District Court yesterday that if he breached his bail again ''prison is where you're headed for''.
Sylek Mikaere (19), of Frankton, last week appeared before Judge Kevin Phillips on a charge of injuring with intent.
Prosecuting Sergeant Ian Collin said Mikaere was remanded on ''relatively strict bail conditions'' but when police called to see him he was not home. He was also not present on Sunday morning but turned up later.
Ms Buckham certified the breach, issued the warning and remanded him on bail to December 1.
Conditions were not to associate with the alleged victim, not to buy or consume drugs or alcohol and he was subject to curfew at his home address between 7pm and 7am.
