Three people processed for drink-driving in Queenstown early yesterday are ''too many'', police say.
Sergeant Mark Gill said five people had been caught drink-driving since Monday.
''If people are going out on the town, they need to be making arrangements to get home,'' he said.
A 26-year-old woman stopped in Beach St at 12.30am yesterday recorded a breath-alcohol level of 675mcg.
A 24-year-old man stopped in Hamilton Rd about 2.30am was issued an infringement notice after recording 355mcg.
A blood sample was taken from a 22-year-old man stopped in Camp St at 3.55am, after he allegedly recorded an excess breath-alcohol level.
