About 150 people kicked their heels up at the inaugural event, inspired by tea dances held many years ago.
Co-organiser Julie Hughes said the Arrowtown RSA ladies wanted to create an event to bring the community together after the Gallipoli commemorations, which had been ''quite emotional for a lot of people''.
The Queenstown Jazz Orchestra, Arrow Entertainers, the Miners Band, Southern Nights and the Remarkable Vocals all entertained the crowd, along with the Buckingham Belles, who performed Candyman.
Mrs Hughes said the entertainers had given their time free, along with other businesses including Mannmade Catering, which had donated all of the food, Rockformation, and Party Plus which provided all of the hire equipment at no charge.
