An Arrowtown woman who allegedly stole almost $10,000 from a Queenstown motel between February and May has been remanded on bail.
Kristina Stacey Tout (27) was remanded by a Queenstown District Court registrar yesterday until June 8.
Bail conditions included the alleged offender not to go within 50 metres of Colonial Village Motel and not to contact the victim.
Tout faces 26 charges of theft from the motel, dated between February 26 and May 1, totalling $9861.
She allegedly stole $279 cash from the motel on February 26; a total of $2260 on nine separate occasions between March 13 and 28; $6604 on 14 occasions between April 2 and 30; and also faces two separate charges, totalling $718, on May 1.
