Big names lined up for Gibbston concert

Gibbston will again be giving music fans a chance to rock out in January, with three big-name US acts lined up for the annual summer gig.

Huey Lewis and the News, REO Speedwagon and Grammy Award-winning Melissa Etheridge will bring their sounds to Queenstown as part of a nationwide tour.

Greenstone Entertainment is bringing the three acts to the Gibbston Valley Winery following this year's show which featured Heart, Foreigner and Three Dog Night.

The three acts will kick off their New Zealand tour in Queenstown on January 23 next year - with concerts in Taupo and Whitianga to follow.
