Flights are resuming at Queenstown airport after ice on the runway led to lengthy delays and some cancellations this morning.
The airport tweeted just before midday that flights were arriving and departing, butdelays were expected.

The cold conditions also led to ice warnings for motorists in the south, and there may be more travel disruptions in store, as a bitterly cold front is forecast to bring snow to low levels in the South in coming days.
