Two Queenstown Lakes events are finalists in the New Zealand Association of Event Professional Awards, to be announced in Wellington on July 22.
The Queenstown Winter Festival and its major sponsor American Express are finalists in the ''Best Partnership for an Event'', while Wanaka's A&P Show is a finalist in the ''Best Community Event'' category.
The winter festival will be judged against the NRL Auckland Nines and its major sponsor Dick Smith, the Motutapu Rangitoto Traverse, and its sponsor the Partners Life Dual; and the Festival of Lights, a six-week event in New Plymouth, and sponsor TSB Bank.
