Hunter Morrow (18), of Luggate, says he was ''stoked'' to win the national live duck calling competition on his third attempt, in Queenstown last month, and is looking forward to competing against the best in the world, in the United States, in November.
Mr Morrow, who is a building apprentice, says he lives and breathes hunting, shot his first duck when he was 8 and has been practising his duck calling for years.
