The 76-year-old woman who died after a head-on collision near Queenstown has been named.
Jennifer Claire Scott, of Cromwell, died after the car she was driving crashed into another vehicle on State Highway 6 at Ladies Mile about 3.45pm yesterday, Senior Sergeant Steve Larking, of Dunedin, said.
The male driver and sole occupant of the second vehicle was taken to Lakes District Hospital with moderate injuries following the crash.
The investigation into the crash was continuing, Snr Sgt Larking said.
