The cause of a power cut which affected 11,000 homes in Central Otago on Tuesday night is being investigated.
The outage affected Cromwell, Wanaka and surrounding areas, Delta capability and risk general manager Matt Ballard said.
The cut caused residents to be without power for 15 to 20 minutes from about 10.30pm.
Transpower and Aurora Energy were investigating the cause.
