Do you know these men? Queenstown police would like to speak to them in relation to an alleged assault in the resort on Saturday morning.
Queenstown police have received a huge response from the public after releasing images from CCTV cameras in the resort's CBD of alleged offenders involved in two separate incidents over the weekend.

Detective Sergeant Grahme Bartlett said no arrests had been made yet.

"We've had a large response from the public and are following positive lines of inquiry. We have been given information which we believe will assist us in identifying those people," he said.

Det Sgt Bartlett said the first incident occurred at 4.30am on Saturday when a 25-year-old man in Cow Lane reported being punched and his wallet taken.

Cash was taken from the wallet before it was thrown back.

The police would like to speak to five men described by the victim, Det Sgt Bartlett said.

At 5.05am on Sunday, a 35-year-old Queenstown man reported being attacked while he was using the ASB ATM on Camp St.

Det Sgt Bartlett said the man had two teeth knocked out and a possible broken nose.

Three men were caught on camera running from the scene.

"A friend of the victim pursued them and reports he was also then assaulted by one of them in Cow Lane."

The police would like to speak to the three men allegedly involved in the incident.

He said no arrests had been made yet.
