A 22-year-old Frenchman was arrested after he allegedly stole
$22.70 worth of cheese and nuts from Fresh Choice at 6.31pm
on Tuesday. He was released with a pre-charge warning.
At 7.30pm on Saturday a 21-year-old New Zealand man was a
passenger in a vehicle travelling through Queenstown when an
unknown man pulled off one of the windscreen wipers.
Inquiries are continuing after Queenstown police received a
complaint on Saturday at 3.40am. Sergeant Steve Watt, of
Queenstown, said a taxi driver picked up a couple and took
them to a Frankton Rd address, where they began to argue
about the fare.
At 9.30pm on Tuesday, two vehicles were travelling towards
Queenstown on the Devil's Staircase, when the front vehicle
slowed down to pull into a lay-by.
