Recapitalisation and fund raisings are under way for
three separate listed Dunedin companies which are going to
the market, or shareholders, seeking a total of at least $30
million.
Dunedin-based biotechnology company Blis Technologies has
posted its seventh consecutive loss - up 187% from the
previous year's $482,000 loss to $1.38 million.
Dunedin-based Blis Technologies has ended a
four-year-old multi-year research and development programme
with Nestle and begun a new development programme.
Another United States retailer would soon launch a consumer
product based on Blis Technologies oral cavity probiotic,
chief executive Barry Richardson told the Dunedin company's
annual meeting yesterday.
Dunedin-based Blis Technologies, which has more than doubled
its sales in the United States, yesterday booked its sixth
consecutive full-year loss but otherwise appears to remain on
a sound footing.
