Dunstan High School was a pioneer in outdoor education and a
new $2.3 million gymnasium facility would give its pupils a
chance to shine at indoor sports as well, Minister of
Education Anne Tolley said yesterday.
A year 13 Dunstan High School pupil became one of eight
teenagers who will compete for a trip to Gallipoli after
winning the Otago-Southland final of a speech competition at
the weekend.
King's High School was a bit rusty after the holiday break,
but it did enough to beat Dunstan 21-15 on Saturday to
confirm its place in the top four for the championship round.
