The beaming boys in the Rotary Park team could have been rock
stars, slapping high fives and accepting congratulations as
they wound their way through the cheering crowd to the stage.
The boys cleaned up in the year 9 and 10 section of the
Otago Daily Times Extra! current events quiz, held at
the Cromwell College auditorium last night.
Competition was tightly matched at the Otago Daily Times
Extra! Central Otago current events quizzes held in Cromwell
last night, with only a few points separating the top three
placegetters in both sections of the competition.
It was heads down and tails up last night at Macandrew
Intermediate School as about 300 pupils squared off against
their peers in the ODT Extra! Current Affairs Quiz.
