The owner of the company which organised Gay Ski Week in
Queenstown before he placed it in liquidation last year, is
thought to be bidding to buy the company back, despite
creditors still being owed a total of nearly $60,000.
Gay Ski Week's organisers are breathing a sigh of relief -
and turning their eyes towards 2012.
Sally Whitewoods and wife Mandy, of Queenstown, stepped up to
the plate after the company which had organised the event for
the past eight years was placed in liquidation.

Camp Leader, and Lynda, as Camp Mother, say they went from
entertaining local government managers to entertaining drag
queens, while in Queenstown this week.
Organisers of Gay Ski Week had to rearrange their schedule
yesterday when the first ski session on the programme was
cancelled, but it did not put a dampener on the enthusiasm
and festive mood.
