Four Dunedin designers will show their wares, alongside 27
others from as far afield as New York and Estonia, at the iD
International Emerging Designer Awards in April.
Dunedin has become a hub for fashion in the South Island, and
holds its own against Auckland, Wellington and other cities
for fashion supremacy in New Zealand, writes Maya Turei, of

While the Dunedin fashion scene recovers from a week packed
with 16 events, including two sold-out shows, organisers of
iD Dunedin Fashion Week are already thinking of next year.
Proving women are not the only followers of fashion,
contemporary tailoring for style-conscious men blew the
judges away at the iD Dunedin Emerging Designer Awards last
night, where menswear collections won four of the seven major
prizes.
