described seeing KingsView Early Learning Centre officially
opened on Friday after 13 years of work.
KingsView Early Learning Centre is a hive of building
activity as volunteers work hard to prepare the much needed
facility for Wakatipu preschool children this month.
Academic excellence and personal growth was recognised when
the Wakatipu's newest school held its first Celebration of
Learning in the Lakes Hayes Pavilion on Tuesday.
Queenstown's newest school will explain how it can
help alleviate the Wakatipu's enrolment zone crisis when it
open its doors for a public information evening on Thursday.
Pupils from
Queenstown Primary and KingsView schools will muck in with
volunteers this week in efforts to remove scrub from the
unearthed ruins of a historic gold-mining community near
Arrowtown.
