The latest University of Otago student orientation programme
had been "very successful" and had not been marred by the
sort of incidents which had happened in the previous few
years, vice-chancellor Prof David Skegg said yesterday.
Thousands of tertiary students have descended on Dunedin,
but before they get down to the important business of study,
they will focus on orientating themselves with their new
home.
