Waitaki District Council, with Oamaru businesses asked to
give their opinions at a meeting tomorrow evening.
Fears Queenstown Lakes District Council intends to remove
angle-parking on upper Ardmore St sparked a rash of public
submissions to the draft Wanaka Town Centre Character
Guidelines, which closed last week.
Free all-day parking within Queenstown is no longer an
option, with one Chamber of Commerce member saying the
current situation is "not very friendly for those wanting to
visit" the area.
