Celebrated as the southern hemisphere's biking mecca,
Queenstown will host its third Bike Festival from next week
and organisers have promised events for the family, the
extremist and the casual bike rider.
Returning once again to the Queenstown Bike Festival line-up
is the Vertigo Bikes Dirtmasters Downhill. This thrill- and
spill-filled downhill race has become a firm favourite and an
event local competitors and visitors come to test themselves
in.
The Queenstown Trail will play its part in this year's
Queenstown Bike Festival, the headline event, the Tour de
Wakatipu, using parts of the new track.
