Vladimir Putin says the world faces a growing "cult of
violence" and Moscow must not let events like those in Libya
and Syria be repeated in Russia, warning the West against
interference in a country he intends to lead for years to
come.
Police have clashed with demonstrators protesting vote fraud
in Moscow and at least two other major Russian cities, as
anger has boiled over against Prime Minister Vladimir Putin
and his ruling United Russia party.
A suicide bomber set off an explosion that ripped through
Moscow's busiest airport today, coating its international
arrivals terminal in blood. The attack killed at least 31
people and wounded nearly 170, Russian officials said.
