For all of those people out there who think their husband
or significant other has annoying traits, you're not alone.
"My Husband is Annoying" (myhusbandisannoying.com) is about a
wife's, Tiffanie Wong, complaints about her husband's
annoying habits.
Wong married her husband in March 2009 after having a
long-distance relationship with him for several years,
according to her "About Me".
Her husband moved in with her two weeks before the wedding
and she says she got to discover how annoying he can really
be.
Though Wong thinks her husband has some annoying
characteristics, the blog doesn't just bash on her husband.
Wong admits that she loves her husband and you can tell by
their interactions, as posted by Wong, that they love each
other.
Her husband's most annoying quirks include bad jokes (like
he'll change their baby's nappies after test results come
back proving it's his child), blaming his flatulence on the
dog and being obsessed with letting the world know where he
is every second of the day using social networking sites.
Wong is very creative and I actually laughed out loud while
reading some of her postings.
While I am not married yet (step up to the plate, Dave), I
can easily relate to Wong's experiences with her husband as
many other women can.
The best part about the blog is how humorous everything seems
to be, while clearly not too humorous to Wong.
She writes in a unique way, varying the length of her posts.
Sometimes there are guest bloggers who write about their
husbands' irritating tendencies.
One guest blogger, Melissa, wrote about how her husband ate
dinner on the couch and she found a slimy green bean on the
floor after making her house spotless before making dinner.
She posts a picture of a note she leaves her hubby and the
note he responds back with.
How could you be annoyed when his response is so funny? (See
The Bean posting, July 20).
Wong has been on several television shows to discuss her blog
and it is featured on Tyra Banks' website for her show,
TyraShow.warnerbros.comWhat I want to know is how her husband
really feels.
As hilarious as the blog is, whose significant other would be
happy that their dirty laundry is being aired for the whole
world to see?The truth is we all have irritating quirks, but
I wouldn't be happy if my boyfriend posted about all of mine.
Who would be?
