Tremor was felt this morning that lasted between 4.39-4.40 enough to shook people out off sleep followed by smaller aftershocks that could still be felt after 5.00.

Source of quake was reported from the south about 6km from Christchucrh.

It was surreal, but probably enough to make the "get through" advert on TV hits home.
