A teenager whose mutilated body was found on a suburban
Boston street may have fallen from an airplane's wheel well,
an airport official says.
Delvonte Tisdale's remains were found last week in Milton,
Massachusetts - nearly 1500km away from his home in North
Carolina - several days after he was reported missing.
Logan International Airport spokesman Phil Orlandella said
investigators have requested flight path information and are
looking into the "remote" possibility that the 16-year-old
may have fallen from an aircraft.
The Norfolk, Massachusetts, district attorney's office
refused in a statement to directly address the plane theory,
but said the investigation "remains active and ongoing on
multiple fronts."
Tisdale was a member of the Air Force Reserve Officers'
Training Corps programme at North Mecklenburg High School in
Charlotte.
