Jetstar and Virgin Australia cancelled their afternoon and evening flights on Thursday morning (local time) but left open the possibility of running later flights if conditions improved.
Virgin Australia has now cancelled all flights from Australia to Denpasar on Friday. It will make a decision by noon whether flights will depart Denpasar.
Jetstar said it will provide an update on Friday's flights to and from the country at 9.30am, after the Volcanic Ash Advisory Centre issues updated information about the ash cloud.
It is also looking at putting on additional services in and out of Bali over the coming days if conditions improve.
Many flights between Australia and Bali have been grounded since Wednesday night because of volcanic eruptions from Mt Raung.
Indonesia AirAsia has advised in a statement that its flights have been rerouted away from the affected areas.
On Thursday evening, Ngurah Rai International Airport, Lombok Praya International Airport and Juanda International Airport were still operating as normal.
Indonesia AirAsia said it is keeping a close eye on updates from relevant scientific agencies.
