A man has been charged following a two-day hostage drama in north Queensland that left a woman injured.
Police say the woman was wounded at a Mackay home after being held against her will on Wednesday and Thursday.
She was taken to the Mackay hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A 48-year-old man is facing charges of torture, deprivation of liberty, unlawful wounding and grievous bodily harm.
Police say the man and the woman were known to each other.
He is due back in the Mackay Magistrates Court on Monday.
