Two motorcyclists have died after separate crashes on NSW
In the latest incident, a male motorcyclist became trapped
under a car at Coalcliff, north of Wollongong, about 12.45pm
(local time) yesterday.
He died at the scene.
Police believe his motorcycle had crossed to the wrong side
of the road but inquiries continue.
Late on Friday, an elderly female motorcyclist died after a
collision with an SUV in northern NSW.
The 81-year-old woman was riding a Honda motorcycle in South
Grafton on Friday afternoon when she was involved in a crash
with a Toyota Landcruiser.
She was knocked from her bike, suffering leg and pelvis
injuries, police say.
She was treated at the scene and taken to Grafton Base
Hospital in a critical condition but died about 11pm.
The 40-year-old male SUV driver was not injured.
The woman's motorbike will undergo forensic testing and a
report will be prepared for the coroner.
