Three people have been stabbed following an argument with
another man outside a backpackers in the Haymarket district
of the Sydney CBD.
It's believed the two men, both aged 19, and a 24-year-old
woman, were stabbed with a piece of glass at the hostel
around 2.15am (AEST) today.
One of the men was stabbed in the neck during the incident,
while the second man was stabbed in the arm. The woman was
stabbed in the face.
Police say another man intervened before the alleged offender
The 36-year-old man has since been arrested and taken to
Sydney City Police Station, where he is currently assisting
detectives with their inquiries.
He's expected to be charged.
All three people were treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics at
the scene, before being taken to St Vincent's Hospital.
One of the men is currently undergoing surgery for neck
wounds, however, his injuries are not considered life
