A man has claimed he was warming up in a Sydney park ahead of
a gym session when he was shot in the leg.
NSW police say the man had been vague but told officers an
unknown person shot him overnight.
The 23-year-old presented himself to Bankstown Hospital in
the early hours of Saturday morning with a gunshot wound to
his right calf.
He told police he had been warming ahead of a gym session in
Punchbowl when he was shot.
The man is in a stable condition, according to police.
Bankstown Police and Strike Force Talon are attempting to
locate a crime scene.
Police are calling for anyone with information about the
shooting or suspicious behaviour overnight to come forward.
