A six-year-old boy has died after a slide tipped and fell on
him at a South Australian playground.
The boy was playing at Farrell Flat about 20km west of Clare,
when the slide, known in South Australia as a slippery dip,
fell on him at about 5pm yesterday.
Ambulance crews treated the boy at the scene, but he died
from his injuries.
Police described the death of the boy, who was from Clare, as
"tragic" and said there were no suspicious circumstances.
It is understood the slide was an old style metal one.
Police are preparing a report for the coroner.
