Man accused of stabbing wife, young kids

A man is due to face a Brisbane court accused of stabbing his wife and two young children.

The 41-year-old is facing three counts of attempted murder on Monday after all three victims were stabbed multiple times.

The woman, 39, and the children, a girl aged nine and a boy aged seven, have all undergone surgery and remain in hospital in serious but stable conditions.

Police found the man at the Carina home where the stabbings occurred on Sunday, after the woman made a frantic triple-zero call for help.

The accused will face the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday.

He's also facing two counts of grievous bodily harm and one count of intending to cause grievous bodily harm.
