Police search for Melbourne skirt filmer

Victorian police are looking for a man caught filming up different women's skirts in Melbourne's southeast.

A woman has told police a man put his hand up the back of her skirt at a Mt Eliza supermarket on February 16, before removing it and apologising.

The woman said she noticed a mobile phone in his hand, police said.

The man then followed the woman around the shop before placing his hand up her skirt again.

He left after the victim confronted him.

Police believe the same man was involved in another incident at a Frankston shopping centre on Cranbourne Road last year.

A sales assistant was working in a jewellery store on December 2 when she was approached by a man.

He continued to drop things for her to pick up before she noticed a camera in his hand, police said.

The man left the store when she contacted security.

He's been described as Caucasian with a slim build, about 183cm tall and aged between 23 and 30.
