Human remains found off NSW beach

Human remains have been found in the water off Pearl Beach on the NSW Central Coast, where five-year-old Chayce Kofe was swept out to sea.

A man walking his dog about 3.30pm on Monday (AEST) discovered what he believed to be human remains, police said.

While formal identification is yet to be completed, police say their investigation will focus on the disappearance of Chayce who was swept into the water off Pearl Beach on July 10, while playing with relatives.

The remains are being forensically examined and inquiries are continuing.
