Parts of Western Australia's central west face severe fire danger and a total fire ban day on Monday.
Communities in these areas are being warned to expect very hot, dry and windy conditions.
If a fire starts it will be unpredictable, move quickly and be difficult for firefighters to bring under control.
A total fire ban day has been declared for the City of Greater Geraldton, Shire of Chapman and the Shire of Northampton.
Meanwhile, firefighters continue battling a blaze overnight that threatened lives and homes in Bullsbrook.
Two derelict homes and five sheds have been destroyed in the blaze that has burnt more than 6600 hectares.
A firefighter suffered burns and a police officer was treated for smoke inhalation.
