A man has faced a Perth court charged with 67 child sex offences.
Peter Lewsam, 50, appeared in Joondalup Magistrates Court, charged with 54 counts of indecently recording a child, 10 counts of indecent dealing with a child and three counts of sexual penetration of a child.
All the offences were alleged to have been committed against a child under the age of 13.
Police said they analysed electronic and data storage devices seized during a search of Lewsam's Balga home in January and allegedly uncovered the offending material.
Lewsam was not required to enter a plea and is due back in court on March 20.
