Twins charged after Sydney crime spree

A teenage set of twins who allegedly stole $8000 worth of items from people in Sydney's CBD have been arrested.

Police say the 18-year-old brother and sister robbed several people at different locations in the city between November 2014 and June this year.

During a search of a house in Riverstone yesterday, police allegedly seized clothing, four mobile phones, a handbag, and a small quantity of cannabis.

The pair were both charged with larceny offences and granted conditional bail to appear in Blacktown Local Court in July.

A cannabis caution was also issued to a 19-year-old man who resides at the home.
