Good Samaritan stabbed on Gold Coast

A good Samaritan, who tried to intervene in an argument between a man and a woman on a Gold Coast street, has been stabbed.

The 26-year-old approached the arguing couple at 4am today on Brett Ave in Labrador.  

A 44-year-old man stabbed the good Samaritan, who was taken to Gold Coast Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.

A 44-year-old man from Labrador was charged with wounding, possession of a knife and being adversely affected by an intoxicating substance and he will appear in Southport Magistrates Court on July 11.
