A Pitts Special S2B piloted by Ivan Krippner paints a
Kiwi in the sky over Central during the Otago Aerobatic
Open held at the Cromwell Airstrip on Saturday.
The Pitts and a Cessna 152 Sparrow Hawke were bought down to
Cromwell as part of a promotion to see if there was enough
local interest to base a training plane in Cromwell.
Aspiring pilots to go for a ride and even have a go at flying
them. The open weekend is from Saturday mid morning
to Sunday mid-afternoon.
