An 11-year-old girl has been found safe and well after she went missing from her home in west Auckland overnight.
Police began searching for the girl after she left her home in Massey on foot shortly after 5pm yesterday.
The girl did not return and police said her disappearance was out of character.
Inspector Peter Raynes of police northern communications said the girl was found safe and well at an address about 7am.
No further details were immediately available.
