SongBong are running a drum making workshop in Port Chalmers
as part of the lead-up to the PORT-able Art Parade and Kite
Festival on November 16th. This workshop is funded by
Creative Communities and is a rare opportunity to make a
quality musical instrument. For just $50 (materials included)
participants can make a large double-headed drum up to 12”
diameter under the expert tuition of David Grace.

Drum making – Sat 8th Nov 9am-5pm
Drumming lesson – Sat 15th 9am-12noon
Art Parade – Sun 16th Nov 12 noon
