Another "consultative process" is under way at the University
of Otago, this time affecting its in-house printing
department, Uniprint.
In recent weeks the university has confirmed four
departmental reviews, including the merger of the design
studies department. The impact on staff jobs has not been
confirmed.
The printing department has about 26 staff, including those
in its shop in the central library (Information Services
Building) and at the Albany St copy centre.
A university official said it was too early to comment
further.
