A ball of wasabi, raw egg and pig eyes, liver, kidney,
heart, lung and tongue. Breakfast anyone?
It was the final hurdle for last fresher competition
participants Steph Miller and Tyler Hunt at the Otago Museum
reserve yesterday.
The two, both from Hayward College, had survived a week of
competition which started with 10 first-year students eager
to win the thousands of dollars worth of prizes.
They had to eat the plateful of stomach-churning food before
sticking either a pig's trotter or tail in their mouths and
scaling an inflatable climbing wall.
Mr Hunt was the eventual winner. His prizes included an
action-packed trip to Queenstown, an iPod touch and a
bicycle.
