Supersized sumo wrestling anyone? How about a spot of
bouncy boxing?
The four remaining competitors in the Otago University
Students Association fresher competition were yesterday put
through their paces on four adult-sized inflatable games.
The inflatable objects are four of seven pieces which will
become an adult indoor entertainment centre at Sammy's from
March.
Co-owner and director Roger Shave said the idea for the
inflatable indoor entertainment had been about three years in
the making.
Games included human foozball, pole fighting, a climbing wall
and slide. The games could be quickly deflated and packed
away so the venue could also be used for music shows, he
said.
Mr Shave said they decided to become involved with
orientation as the students would be some of their main
customers.
Fresher competition participant Tyler Hunt said he was
enjoying the inflatable games although it was "really tiring
and really hot".
