Sad to see another cyclist has needlessly died on one of the cities main arterial routes.

How much more blood will it take for NZTA to make a change to the SH's cycle lanes and parking arrangements to make life safer for all road users - two trucks, one year, two deaths and counting.

Side effect of the sad cyclist's death

One interesting thing that has come out of this needless death is that I have getting a lot more room by all road users when I ride makes me feel a whole lot safer which is great while it lasts. I can't imagine that will be very long but the sad fact here is it shows that motorists can treat cyclists with respect they just choose not to.

I know there are other issuses here but still this does show something
