Can I please send a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful
volunteers who run the Tairei Gorge Railway - particularly
Waveney and Des, and those who provided the commentary.
We are visitors from Sydney, Australia, who were on the
Pacific Jewel cruise ship, and we had the most fabulous day.
The food and drink were plentiful and the scenery was
spectacular.
So were the volunteers, who were well past retirement age -
we should have been looking after them, rather than the other
way around! Thank you for a very enjoyable day.
We hope to visit again in the near future.
