Moana Pool spectators' charge

For the past month I have endured the time consuming changes to the entrance procedures at Moana Pool so that I can be a good parent and watch my children's training sessions and waterpolo games from the side of the pool.

Now I hear that I am going to be charged 50c for my twenty minute (on average) wait to be served.

For this fee of 50c I will have the pleasure of catching the last few minutes of their training and then have to make our way out of the foyer as I say "no, you can't have chips, no you can't get lollies, no you are not allowed coke".

In future, I will be waiting for my children outside the building, away from the vending machines, for free.

Stamps on the hands comes to mind,

but is that assault nowadays??

Moana Pool - Reception

Having been to the pool quite a lot in the last few weeks with my children for Flippa Ball, swimming clubs etc I cannot believe how much paper is being wasted on the new entry system. When you enter, if there is say a family of four, then four bits of paper get handed to you, you go through the gate and then dispose of them in the bin. There must be some 'zero waste' way of letting people in, rather than using all these pieces of paper. The Council want us to reduce/recycle, but are they not doing this themselves.
